what a pile of shit. in theory it’s a great thing, but for FB to work properly you need the element of brotherly (and sisterly) love in place. which is a theory all the great spiritual leaders preached. Trouble is the followers of these leaders preach but don’t practise these things, and why would you expect the public to hold up to these high standards if those cunts don’t.

and as for the general public. Facebook does not work as a means of connecting random groups of strangers.

so i get friend request a while ago – i get a few, like most people. But the fucking machine is sending them it seems on behalf of people/ it’s not like they’re genuine. i’ve no idea why the website would want to do this, but as i understand it there are friend requests just sent out, from one stranger to another. so i sometimes send a ‘hi’ or a ‘hello’ out before accepting such request. i want to see is this person a nutter or what? But then there you go , you see, it’s that suspicious side which mucks up the pure ‘love everyone’ ideal….I’m checking first, just as someone else would check with me.

‘Why did you message me?’ ‘who are you?’…what happened to ‘good morning’ ‘how are you?’

leave facebook for those cunts who want to post for THEIR friends and THEIR family…events, life events, marriages, births, anniversaries, Okay…

It seems to me the phrases ‘friend request’ and ‘facebook friend’ are misnomers. We’re not friends, not ‘friends’, are we? unless of course we’ve met in real life. and even then we may just be acquaintances. They should come up with another word, to make it more straight. Like Facebook ‘potentialite’.

A potentialite is someone who has the potential not only to be a friend, but also an enemy, a complete cunt, a paedo, a pervert, (pervert i guess would be someone sending inappropriate photos), an acquaintance, a pen pal.

really these people are pen pals, a network of them. only the letters arrive instantaneously. But then that again is too generous a term, because, as i recall, pen pals were people who wanted to get to know the other person. For innocent reasons, for educational reasons, for the same reasons some people liek to travel..

You can be facebook friends with random strangers for decades, and i have been! i mean the relationship starts off as random strangers and stays like that until the end, until one of them dies. So what is the point of that…It’s like people like to horde their facebook friends. They got so many in storage, just in case…just in case they need to check on their popularity..?
