what an amazin year it’s been. i’ve learnt a few lessons, and found out who my true friends are. i’ve watched a lot of great films , as well as many shit ones. I’ve read some interesting books e.g. koestler’s 13th tribe, about the Kazhar people, who took up Judaism, but weren’t semitic. when you realise that history is filled with such groups of people you then see how even more complicated is the whole melting pot of peoples and religions in the world.
I had a good thing to say, but it’s gone…maybe it’ll come back, like a piece of cake that’s stuck in one’s throat….i’ll vommit it up. Bought and sold a few guitars. Made some money on ebay, but as always i have bought a lot of clutter too which has failed to sell.
Did my show ‘Paul is Dead & other conspiracy theories’ in a number of venues: Cinema and Co, Ystrad welfare hall, elysium – it keeps getting better. Been banned and removed from the bill in a number of venues – i’m like that boxer in the Simon and Garfunkel song: in my anger and my shame i carry the reminders of every glove that cut me ’til i cried out…..but soon, i hope, an investigation will be carriedo ut , and then i’ll be found exonerated.
Ond duuuuwww o’n i’n dod lawr man ‘na. I get nappy rash on my face, it’s cos i had a pampered childhood.
Went to Heathrow to do a gig, and i went to cambridge – that was a busy week – i also went to gower to be part of Gower Jazz Festival. They all went well, the first two in spite of certain horrible elements in the room. The cambridge gig looked impossible to play, but maybe because i went down to the floor from off the stage i managed to bring them around. heathrow was sports bar in a hotel by the airport – it looked dead but surpisingly they were a good audience.
